Xactium Limited, the cloud enterprise risk management solution company, announces global credit rating agency DBRS as the latest company to select Xactium as the Risk Management solution provider for its UK clients.
Formed in 1976, DBRS is a globally recognised provider of timely credit rating opinions that offer insight and transparency across a broad range of financial institutions, corporate entities, government bodies and various structured finance product groups. Headquartered in Toronto, DBRS also has offices in New York, Chicago and London.
By choosing a flexible cloud based software solution to manage their risks, DBRS have been able to significantly update their approach to risk. The risk team is now able to look closely across the organisation and into business lines to manage the potential threats to the operation more efficiently and spot opportunities when they arise. The system allows the Business Leaders to identify potential risk events, assess the existing controls and work towards an effective long-term risk management solution. For the Board Directors and Senior Management this flexibility to look across the group holistically, or where necessary drill down to the entity levels means that the risk appetite can be assessed and adjusted quickly and easily.
Martin Slack, Senior Vice President Global Enterprise Risk Management DBRS said “the open nature of the system design has allowed the DBRS Group to tailor the system specifically to our needs and the changes we have made make the system scalable and a long term solution for managing our risk profile and appetite”
Andy Evans, Managing Director, Xactium commented “As a highly reputable ratings agency, it’s a great pleasure to announce DBRS as a new client. A particularly important part of this project has been to provide flexibility around integration, and the ability to quickly configure the solution to DBRS’s specific requirements, both of which are a key strength of Xactium.”
