We are pleased to be hosting a meeting with Ariane Chapelle author of her new book Operational Risk Management: Best Practises in the Financial Services Industry. Ariane gave a thought provoking opening address at our annual conference last year and has just released her latest book which draws upon her 20+ years of knowledge and experience in the field. She will be providing an overview of her book followed by a Q&A session.

About Ariane

Dr Ariane Chapelle PhD, is associate Professor at the University College London for the course “Operational Risk Measurement for Financial Institutions’ and is fellow of the institute of Operational Risk and trainer for the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA), for who she designed the certificate of learning and Practice in Advanced Operational Risk Management.

She is the former holder of the chair of International Finance at the University of Brussels. She has been active in Operational Risk Management since 2000 and is the former Head of Operational Risk at ING Group and Lloyds Banking Group. Ariane runs her own training and consulting practice and her clients include tier one financial organisations and international financial institutions.
