In this talk, Andy will discuss what is meant by cloud computing, and other associated terms, such as software as a service and platform as a service. He will talk about its benefits and risks and go into detail on one of the more mature cloud computing development platforms: Force.com, which is changing the way that developers think about software development and delivery.

Andy Evans is an experienced business executive, consultant and manager, with over 20 years experience of software design and development. He is MD of Xactium limited, a Sheffield based company, which is using Force.com and cloud technology to deliver business solutions to large enterprises."
