When Andy isn’t working, he is busy playing tennis and has a talent for playing the piano. Andy is an avid reader and has a new found pleasure in chopping wood for his wood burning stoves!

David works for Direct Line Group as the Head of Operational Risk & Framework. He has worked for the regulator setting expectations relating to Solvency II and also for KPMG helping firms to embed all aspects of risk management.
David has successfully implemented Xactium within Direct Line Group.

Aidan is the Head of Operational Risk at Crown Agents Bank having joined in November 2016.
He has more than 15 years’ experience across all areas of operational risk and resilience and is a Professional member of the Institute of Operational Risk.

Group Head of Operational Risk, Equiniti Group PLC
Joanna joined Equiniti, UK's leading provider of share registration services and associated investor schemes, in 2015. She has been responsible for designing and implementing an Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework to include the diverse activities of the whole Group, both regulated and unregulated.
Joanna has 15 years’ experience of risk management practice, starting with PwC as an IT auditor, then working as an operational risk specialist within the UK Financial Services industry, including Co-op Financial Services and AXA Insurance.

Will is the 2016 Summer Paralympics Games gold medallist and famously received a yellow card after jumping onto the table following his stunning victory!

Manoj Kulwal has 18 years of international experience in managing strategic, operational and compliance risks. He implements operational management initiatives and conducts training courses for medium to large organisations. Project topics cover operational risk, ERM framework benchmarking, information security risks, risk appetite, risk aggregation, Sarbanes Oxley and regulatory change management.
A professional member of The Institute of Operational Risk, member of the RM/1 committee at British Standards Institute, and Co-founder and Chief Risk Officer at RiskSpotlight, he is involved in ISO 31000 revision, has authored risk management articles for the Risk Universe magazine, and supports global initiatives which develop operational risk management disciplines.
Chairman, The Institute of Operational Risk, England & Wales Chapter
Jimi has over 20 years’ experience in operational risk and regulation. After completing his Ph.D. on financial regulation and public choice economics in 2000, he joined the UK Financial Services Authority where he held a number of positions including in operational risk policy, bank supervision and as a Basel 2 specialist/ lead. Jimi then joined the GSIFI MUFG in 2008 to be head of Policy, Risk and Regulatory Affairs for the bank. Jimi left MUFG to form NJ Risk and Regulatory Consulting in 2016 to provide professional services, training and practical support in operational risk and regulatory affairs, and was most recently engaged as an interim Senior Risk Manager at BNY Mellon.
Jimi is a regular speaker on operational risk and regulatory affairs at conferences and has published numerous journal articles, most recently on operational risk capital in the Journal of Operational Risk and on conduct and culture in Risk Universe. Jimi has been a long-time member and supporter of the Institute of Operational Risk, joining soon after it was founded, and is a former Director on the IOR Council. In 2016 Jimi was made a Fellow of the IOR and joined the England & Wales leadership team. In 2017 Jimi became Chairman of the IOR’s England & Wales Chapter.
